I recently ramped up a build which I will name the Chasemobile. Here are the first pictures of the progress that's being made. The body will go to paint in the near future and I am gathering the components of the powertrain now. The tires and wheels are surrogates until the build is finished, at which time I'll swap out for new chrome and rubber.

Little of both. The frame is square and plumb, but the front axle has some slight positive camber. I haven't gotten to the fix yet, but if I can't straighten it I'll swap the front axle. Still in good shape for a 67 year old!

The last one I built from the ground up is 52 years old[Image: 177610_520212354656304_1505513459_o.jpg?...e=5B8E54BF]
An update for those who asked:

The transmission is done and here's a pic. How about that color choice? I'll be rebuilding the transfer case this week, and it'll be gold also. Sorry that you can't see the new pan at the bottom but it and all cover plates are black. Because of all the rain we've gotten here, I still haven't plucked the motor from the donor vehicle. I'm still looking at having it on the road by the 4th of July. Thanks for your interest!
