Fenn Likes the Ladies

RE: Fenn Likes the Ladies
If I hid $2 million in the Rocky Mountains I'd probably remember the year I did it. That would've been a pretty big deal (for me). If I never hid $2 million and had instead memorized scripted 'facts' I'd be far more likely to make the same mistake Fenn made in this interview.

I’d think the year he hid the chest would be important fact to keep straight, if he was creating a back story.

The research would have been 2008, 2009, as a guess. The government raid on his house, when they saw the chest... i dont recall that year? There is a picture of his vault with the chest on the shelf... would give another “no earlier than” date.

I was not speculating, I stated what I heard and what he said. 1988. Obviously he made a mistake, but why? Is he losing his mind? He was stumbling over himself quite a bit.

He's 88 years old! Geez Louise, what on earth?! He's acting like 99% of advanced elderly people act! Have you just never spent time around elderly people before?

So tired of people acting like Forrest Fenn is all-knowing, all-seeing, always clever, always sharp. He is HUMAN. He is FALLIBLE. He is very ELDERLY.

No need for him to be "losing his mind." He's just....88, for crying out loud.

.
Heres the photo of Forrests vault including what looks like the chest. I dont know when it was taken (the photo).

He’s older than 58 (1988) in the photo. Also, the chest location is consistent with Prestons description of seeing it on a vault shelf (i think he describes it in forward to “Once Upon a While”).

Back to the title of this post . . . "Fenn Likes the Ladies" :

Maybe this relates to his claim that the poem is STRAIGHT forward.

I just deleted my previous post that stated why I thought the picture was taken in summer 2010.

I now believe the pic was taken in 2002, because:

-In this article, it states Donna Karan met Virgil Ortiz in Santa Fe in 2002 while attending the Santa Fe Indian Market.
http://www.beyondbuckskin.com/2010/06/de...ortiz.html

-In this article, Donna Karan states she "did Santa Fe years ago," implying she only went there once some years ago, which refers, I assume, to her being there in 2002.
https://www.abqjournal.com/1196054/karan.html

-In this picture from 2002, Donna Karan's hair is also the exact length it is in the picture in FF's vault:

-Also, the quality of the photo looks like 2002, when film cameras were still being used by some.

I have seen lots of signs that say "celebrate diversity".

But none that say "celebrate perversity". I wonder why.
