fenn said there will be more details in these scrapbook entries compiled in a book. I got an email from the publisher[Image: b89ecad56af39e2a590e59908825f36f.jpg]

If the 24 lines have anything to do with 24 hrs in a day. And likewise, "Begin it" line 5am, "high" line 12 pm, "blaze" line (13) 1 pm, "done it tired" line (19) 8 pm (longest day sunset).
Also of interest is line 2 "treasures" 2 am fits the nocturnal theme of many illustrations. And line 14 (2 pm) is also assumed to be the treasure "quest to cease". Possibly a connection to the double omega (2 bells?)
All of this hints at a solar connection.

Decall, is that the cover of the new book? Like the cover of TFTW?

I've always been intrigued with this idea toss a sun dial in there and you might have a win! Could the blaze be a sun dial? Follow its shadow until it reaches 1pm? Only the shadow knows...

One idea.

So US 522, US 64, and US 38 create the sun dial. Combining with end ever drawing nigh going around the circle and what's his name from other thread talking about Cimarron being Meek (no paddle referring to Scully Mountain), you're being led from Rio Grande around in a circle towards Graveyard Canyon.

Apparently this poster was at fennbooree 2017, yet nobody seems to be talking about it. I'd like to see a higher resolution photo since the cover probably means something. And, like TFTW it has the shadow man there.

I spoke with Dal, he confirms a book coming but it's not put together by Forrest. There is some sort of hold up, it's by his publicist and Susan. It's stuff Forrest had written. That's all I know.
Shhh they aren't listening.

Why not? The majority of Forrest's "original" thoughts and ideas are copies and adaptations of the thoughts of others. It seems perfectly feasible and in character that he would copy Kit Williams' use of a "sundial" to mark the location of his treasure.
