Okay, here goes my take on the treasure. I have lots to say, but I intend to take this slowly & attempt to back up every statement I make. No one has to agree with my conjectures, but based on my numerous conversations with FF & emails that I rec'd that I have only recently read, I am 99.999% certain that a FF treasure is STILL hidden somewhere in the wilderness & corresponds to the poem clues.
I have been alternately angry & sad since FF died. The reasons are many & varied. There are emails that I have yet to read & videos that he sent to me that I have NOT yet watched. He would write me several times daily with all sorts of attachments. I couldn't keep up with it all. Anyway, I'm just now getting around to analyzing his statements & what it all means.
I am convinced that FF took his own life due to a major illness. He had lost excessive amounts of weight & had become very frail. Last winter took quite a toll on him to the point that he did NOT think he could face another one. FF told me he was tying up his loose ends & getting all his affairs in order. His emails to me became increasingly despondent & discussed his failing health.
So, from what I have deduced, FF needed to have the treasure found before he died. I do NOT know much about this Jack Stuef person ... NOR do I care. He's unimportant. As I said, if FF planned this out the way I'm certain that he did, he could "have his cake & eat it too". Whatever treasure FF claimed was found, it was definitely NOT his legacy one. Of this fact I am certain.
The poem has yet to be solved & the "other" treasure retrieved. NO way whatsoever is the supposed "find" of Jack's the one hidden by FF that matches the poem. I tried my darnest to get FF to admit to me that the treasure he "supposedly" hid in WY is the one that fits the clues in the poem. He finally admitted that he could NOT honestly tell me that. Many times I asked him flat out, yes or no, but he ended up by pleading with me to drop the matter & just be patient. He said there was more to come soon.
I believe that FF ended the Chase the way he did in order to protect his family, & that he did NOT want us searchers to carry on without him. He stated that he "hid the treasure to be searched for, ... NOT to be found."
FF also said many times that: "The person who finds the treasure will have studied the poem over & over, & thought & analyzed & moved with confidence. Nothing about it will be accidental."
I believed FF then, ... & I believe him still.
More later. G'night, everyone.
