I am beginning to think its a fishing line.
He likes collecting things. (And he's good at it.)
I am beginning to think its a fishing line.
Fishing line... never thought of that one before. The ball was different colors though. Most fishing line isn't.. I don't know.

The more I think about it, the more I become lost on it.

Time. His mother was looking out the window for the postman. In my neighborhood the postman comes very near the same time every day. Like clockwork.

Historically, yes.
I always thought that the clues were all tied together by one common it like the ball of string has individual pieces all connected together. So each clue location is a separate thing but they all are connected together by a common theme, trail, person etc.
Yes and that is the fishing line and we are the fish. I have a more serious answer but it is a complex thought and doesnt fit in with the KISS theory most are operating on. Maybe I will write about it on my blog. It was an interesting idea.
If you look up the Origin of the word clue, it was a ball of string. A Greek guy used string to help him get through a labyrinth or something : a clew is a ball of string.
Is it warm in here, or is it just me?
