"Chama" not translate to "blaze". "Chama" not Portugese. Translate to "fighting place." Jack think Mr Forrest not make that mistake.
Chama more commonly translates as child depending on region. But here's one to think about....Chupadero.

In New Mexico Chama translate to fighting place.

You can read here for mistranslation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chama_River_(Rio_Grande)

The name "Chama" is a shortened version of the Tewa term [tsąmą' ǫŋwįkeyi], meaning "wrestling pueblo-ruin"

More accurate translation is "fighting place".

Not need take Chinese man's word. Read what concerned citizens of Rio Arriba say.

Everyone knew that my mother wasn’t much in a fight, though.

She has always said she'd rather switch than fight
Hey if it gets you where you want to be then by all means use it. Tewa extends beyond New Mexico and FF said he didn't prefer Spanish so.....keep pounding away at Google. Lots of words to take into consideration.

Arriba
Vayase

Could be a very long list.

Not get Jack anywhere. Jack look for sorution in poem maybe so not so much on internet. Still need dictionary because Jack lousy English. Jack read lots. Try help when people go wrong this way. Easy thing to correct.
If you translate wrong language you need be aware. Maybe so chunks had reason to translate Chama from Portugese to English. Jack bet not. JAck bet that mistake. Easy find "Chama mean blaze" on internet. Jack bet you hab no reason for translate assume Tewa Spanish then translate to English either. New Mexico have complex historical ethnicity. I read books bout 4 corners area. One book say one thing. The next say another. Very complicated. Professors still blah blah over history. Probably not much help solve poem but fun to read. Interesting to think about evolution of culture. Jack not spend much time in Qinhai Province. Fierce Golog warriors there. Mao try build train to Lhassa. Gologs attack. Mao send in troops. Golog capture 300 troops remove noses. Send back out into desert. Indigenous people both places. Maybe so Gologs a little harder to civilize than Tewa. Gologs nomadic very long time. Still Jack like think about these things even though Jack ignoramus.

Simple linguistic mistake easy correct. Much harder to correct people who think guessing sorution good strategy. No reward either except maybe sometime they drop something more interesting than Molly Brown, Brown's Hole, Brown's Park, Brown's Realty, Brown's Canyon, Brown's Lake, Brown trout, Morena Creek, Casa Morena, Morena this, Morena that … blah blah Brown. All of those are guesses. You guess a point on the map you can build sorution around it. Strategy doomed. Ask admin. Ask 50,000 search monkeys. 50,000 search monkeys type 50,000 random solutions and search them. Search area maybe 1 million hectares? Random search no work.
Who are you, Jack? Certainly not a random Chinese guy. Lol. Smile

Here you get maps from 1908 that will explain all of the names of the ruins and the definition of all "places" as they were named by the spanish and indians indigenous to the area. THIS IS A LOT OF FUN. I spent a week on this. Really a whole week. Do you see me holding the treasure. If you want to get going on this here is a link. If the link does not work just google Ethnozoology of the Tewa Indians

I've read that same book. It's very interesting!
