If t was just you and the other trolls no one would come to the party. Fortunately I know there's wiser Searchers on here. Party on!
@White Knight, point me and the others to where you have rubbished my logic on you saying you know for sure that your first clue is correct even after ff's words after the fact state otherwise. Or explain again as I missed it the first time. It better be good than the following thinking.....

‘I have more valuable stuff that's been backed up by ff then a self professed 95% solve. I bet you he even has been sitting down in his home and heard my name and the words "A great treasure hunter". ‘

SO YOU’VE IMAGINED A SITUATION WHERE FORREST SITS IN HIS HOME AND SAYS YOU’RE ‘A GREAT TREASURE HUNTER’. THAT’S YOUR EVIDENCE TO BACK UP YOUR SOLUTION. THAT’S A JOKE. IT’S A DELUDED FANTASY INVENTED WITHIN YOUR MIND.

I never said that's my evidence to back up my solution. Don't want it to and I don't need that. And Andy, you don't even get the story right. Look at my comment and your comment again and see the difference. Mine is accurate and your's is inaccurate. But that doesn't mean mine is a fantasy. I'd rather have my version happen in the comfy and amazing home of ff then what you got out of him at the radio station....just sayin. And the kicker is I pulled it off under the radar, like a whisper. Makes you wonder what other aces I have up my sleeve.

And with that I will hype up one of my aces and broadcast here my stunning event on the morning of Black Friday which will kick off at 6am PST in the W.D.C. thread which will spell out a 3 worded title.

Almost forgot, since you feel ff likes to give searchers the impression they are making steady progress and the next step is close and attainable, don't you think he's doing that with you? Another catch 22

Forrest created the riddle and solution so I think he's able to understand it. Remember he said 'Andy Briggs had a lot of the riddle figured out'. That means Forrest understood and agreed with the bulk of the solution I've provided.

Forrest hasn’t given you or your solution any air-time, I presume because he thought it wasn’t significant.

When you’re talking about the English language the clue is in the word ‘English’. I wonder where that language came from?

I’m able to understand mountains, rivers, lakes, trees and directional co-ordinates. Is there more required for the search? Perhaps you've researched the address of Bigfoot?
Fenn didn't create a riddle; he architecturally structured a poem. He's never called his poem anything but, "My poem." He never said you had any part of his POEM figured out so you're deluding yourself if you think you're solution is correct or special. Fenn has said over and over again, "Don't mess with my poem." He's never referred to it any other way so therefore, if he said you had a lot of the riddle figured out he was not referring to his poem.
Fundament

Yes he is doing that with me and he’s not lying. He’s saying I have made a lot of correct progress.

Buddy Allen,

I’m happy to discuss my solution here while trying to improve the last part of it and assist others to do the same.

If you think people should ‘shut up’ until they find the chest then take your own advice. Don’t post anything more on this thread until you’ve found the chest.

NJFL

If the poem wasn’t a riddle you would have solved it on day one. Look up the definition of ‘riddle’ in a dictionary. Forrest said his poem had to be ‘deciphered’.

I haven’t ‘messed with the poem’. I haven’t tried to alter a single word in the poem. Look at what I've said before on this.

I haven't claimed I have solved most of it you butt wipe!

Nobody here likes you. We barely tolerate you.
@White Knight...as expected you can't get yourself out of your first clue conundrum. And you were 0 for 2 in getting my story straight in the last couple of posts so how does anyone feel confident that you're able to read the true intentions of ff's stories? A head scratcher, indeed.

Who said I didn't solve it? I did.
A riddle is a statement or question or phrase having a double or veiled meaning, put forth as a puzzle to be solved. Fenn created a poem. Not a statement, not a phrase, not a question. Riddles are of two types: enigmas, which are problems generally expressed in metaphorical or allegorical language that require ingenuity and careful thinking for their solution, and conundra, which are questions relying for their effects on punning in either the question or the answer. You need a better dictionary. The poem is neither one of these things.
njfl,

Dear oh dear,

Here’s a selection of definitions of ‘riddle’ from various dictionaries:

- A puzzling question, problem, or matter.

- A person or thing that is difficult to understand or explain

- One that is perplexing; an enigma.

- Something that is mysterious or confusing

- A question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning:

- Something that you do not understand and cannot explain [= puzzle, mystery

Even with your own selective (trying to split hairs) definition it still covers the poem. Forrest said he put nine ‘clues’ in the poem. Clues need to interpreted otherwise they would be just instructions. The nine clues are phrases or statements - they are formed from English text.

The poem requires deciphering. The clues in the poem make it a riddle. The hints outside of the poem such as in TTOTC and TFTW add to the riddle of the poem in whole riddle of the Chase.
Ok Briggsy, we can go in circles about your cipher/riddle theory until the heifers come home. Let's try a different approach here. Going on 6 years of this chase, ff maybe slipped up once or twice (once in my opinion with the dam, and he righted it quick to level things out) and suddenly now he is going to go on a radio show and tell a searcher by name they have it figured out? Not likely, and don't forget the "maybe" in there.

As somebody mentioned previously, ff saw an opportunity to get some exposure in the Euro zone, and it has worked out nicely...except...between you and mrmagical you have exhausted all your credibility with all these posts of unqualified absolute solves. Take a Q from Iron Will...tone down the rhetoric, and realize that you are no closer than anyone else (that is a fact). Time to put up or shut up my friend...

PS...95% of 0 is still 0...just sayin'
