I saw the post and I don't think he was posting it as a clue nor did he post it in regards to TTOTC. It was just a picture of his daughter out hiking and yes it's too high for f's chest. f has said 5 to 10,000' so 12,000+' is out!
When he spoke about putting the ashes on the mountain he said he didn't put them on top. So even if a mountain is too high of a place it could be on the side of it.
Go for it then. Smile I would suggest research before you waste a bunch of money on that search. Good luck!

It has to be New Mexico. Check out the map Forrest made from the early Italian article.

The USGS Topographic Map database lists a mere 14 waterfalls in New Mexico. There are several dozen additional ones people know by "word of mouth."
