I used this and I went to Maverick and Lost Creek already 3 years ago.

I didn't know there was a Pee Pee and that is sorta erotic and would be in the wood if I saw that one. I think that would be a golden shower and sounds like he took one.

Yep and some falls arent listed. Smile
</div>

Most of them are not listed, which seems odd to me.
If you like the waterfall idea, Doug Scott is a great reference. I have visited many of them, some of which are really off the beaten path. Most of them ff would not trek back to but the beauty of some are definitely worth the hike if you want to stray from the poem.
@Desertphile - thanks for the list of falls in NM; it brings back some happy recollections!  I remember nearly a year ago after reading the poem a few times, consulting Google Maps and spending 15 minutes deep in thought (I mean REALLY deep in thought), I knew exactly where the chest was.

So, my "nascent epipharage" hit me like a ton of bricks when I saw the Rio Quemado Falls.  Of course that's where he secreted his bronze box of riches!  How could anyone not see that??  Well, after almost a year of more really deep thinking, I no longer believe it's there.  Who knows though...could be.</i>

I'll just be down here by my lonesome (since my wife wants no part of this "thinking about treasure" nonsense) mullig on what Forrest might have been thinking when he said 10,200 feet. Certainly is an odd number!

No more odd than the 66000 links comment.</div>

True, chunks, you've got a point. Heyyy, 31 more of those and you can "box the compass"! Big Grin</div>
</div>

I feel sometimes like I have already boxed the compass. Not only have I looked at the poem from 32 directions I think I have doubled that making me feel like I just boxed Holly Holm!
O wait, I just discovered something! LOL
I just got back from Kansas...KANSAS, and nothing! Are you sure DessertPhile? I completely covered the state while listening to some boring interview on the net... Smile If that guy would friend d me on really tell him what this duck thinks...Grins...no cat!

I'm no advanced Fenner.... To be a pro or advanced Fenner, one would have to have known the hidey spot! I am a armater (amateur) (wwwh). Sorry f, while I like, and have bonded to, and am familiar with the story,,, I've never met you the man...I'm a duck! However, I will go ahead and say that tomorrow I've been following the TTOTC for one year. Never have I been more dedicated to, or had to work so hard then I have for TTOTC. The alligators teeth are so shiny!

You mean you walked right past the treasure chest?! Dude, just two words of advice: EYE GLASSES! Golly. You went all the way to Kansas and you didn't see the treasure just staring you in the face. I suggest you (and everyone else) leave New Mexico alone and go back to Kansas to hunt. It's there! It's REALLY there!
What do you mean Kansas isn't in New Mexico. After that interview on gypsy kiss and you said you thought it was in New Mexico You fibbed to us.
