Animas sola, spanish. Indulgence= pay for sin?
Hi, I'm awake and reading through Forrest and Dal scrapbooks. What are you all doing? Did you guys see any clues in scrapbook twentysix?

Anyway, scrapbook twentysix might be about the word indulgence.

Scrapbook twenty six:
http://dalneitzel.com/2013/03/16/scrapbook-twentysix/

Someone there mentioned purgatory. It might be animas sola, explained here:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anima_Sola

Indulgence was good works or even money to help get people to heaven. (Catholic). Are we seeing Forrest atone for something?

Here are tablets (or retabula, which is "behind the alter") that look like the wooden reliefs Fenn received from the old new Mexico family:

The woman's chest looks like a devil, and her arms his horns. No like. Freud would love my interpretation.

Ok, also. I've noticed some people think they "know" Forrest. Or that he is associated with email accounts, or other things. I think that is a mistake. It's even weird. And weirder yet when people get angry at him or call him a "liar". Or insinuate others are calling him a liar. If he does need indulgence for sin, I could say a few lines of a prayer I read in the comments on that scrapbook twenty six. A person who lost their husband and offered a prayer was completely ignored by the group.

I used to be a Lutheran and we don't get the idea of the Catholic indulgence... I suppose this animas sola purgtory indugence is not related to why he calls it indulgence, though, in the end. Cool wooden paintings. If they were in the chest I'd have no idea of how to price them.

@HollyfromMN - I don't see any clues in Scrapbook 26 ... but I don't even understand what YOU wrote. The painting on FF's 9 inch tall knick-knack is a piece of watermelon sitting on a table. The woman & the two children are racing toward it. The woman has removed her top because she doesn't want to have watermelon juice dripping down her front. She's carrying a salt shaker in her right hand. I love H2O melon ... naked, NO salt.

About FF naming the chest Indulgence ... that I understand. But what I don't get is FF first naming the chest Tarzan. Perhaps it's swinging by ropes somewhere near "the blaze". I believe Tarzan is the hint ... NOT Indulgence. Are we expected to believe FF bought that beautiful bronze chest for $25,000, then named it Tarzan? Oh NO! I ain't buying any of that! Who would name the chest anyway? That's very odd. FF seems to make up a name for everyone & everything. So HollyfromMN, what exactly is your point?

There are a few possible reasons why I think he named it Tarzan, but changed the name when it grew too big a hint.

The Marvel connection
The author of the original connection: Edgar Rice Burroughs (Burrows)
Tarzan was a foundling, and didn't fit in with human society.
Tarzan's real name: John Clayton, Viscount of Greystoke

Hmm. Salt goes well with most everything. But not with everything. It ruins water (and watermelon, eww). Funny how I see peurgatory and you see watermelon.

Tarzan? John Clayton? Huh. What's it mean. You're way ahead of me Mindy. (Oops. Edit)

Clayton could mean heavy loads and water high...

Wow. That's awesome.

Animas sola = ANIMALS AS O

That's an 'ending clue', and that's pretty nifty. Thanks.

Crazy mad? We used to ask Dad, where ya going? He'd always first avoiding the question with, "Going crazy. Wanna come?"

Animas sola= move alone? Or animals 0. Or sloan.

The Animas! Oh yeah! And I looked up Tarzan and there's a city near my area that is called Tarzan!

and there's a Clayton Nolen in my area. Yes, loads on high. And another name of a street.

It isn't the first time I've been completely ignored nor will it be the last, I predict. I'm like a ninja on these blogs. I can come and go and no one will ever know I was there.
