A retrieved TC. Yes and no.
How I am seeing the TC in being retrieved could have been forrest hid the TC empty for a few years and went back to see if it was still there and it was so this would make this place a special place forrest would had to test this spot to find out if it is the right place.

From my experience I have learned that if you find a hole with A-bomb in the wilderness you leave the hole in the wilderness.

I've never seen that one. Thanks

I was wondering when someone was going to bring up the , "straw grasping concept" of the "Test Theory". Provide one shred of evidence that something like that might have occured.......crickets. How about Leprechauns turned it green ? They like green right ? And they like gold . There you have it, mystery solved.

When Addison Doty took the publicity/book photos of the treasure chest it was brown. Those were taken about a year before the book was published. I was told by a confidential source they were taken just after the FBI raid. And by the way, the FBI photographed the treasure chest in the vault during the raid in June, 2009. So when those photographs are available they will show a brown treasure chest as well. Bank on it. So when exactly did the treasure chest develop the heavy green patina in the Scrapbook 158 photo that mysteriously surfaced in September of 2016 with about 5 to 7 years of patina which was.....wait for it......about 7 years after it was photographed with a brown patina and about 6 or 7 years after he said he hid the treasure chest ? Things that make you go Hmmmm......

It certainly does add up.

If Forrest thought a passer-by might accidentally find the treasure, then he would have simply buried it. In all of history, all hordes were buried.

It makes most sense that it is buried.
