Fred died of intestinal cancer on Feb 9 1901. Fred's son Byron died in 1954.

well there was this guy named fred but they called him ferd because he couldn't even spell his own name right

It's instructional on how to read the transposed poem.

For example: twoer could be tower. ebll could be bell. Or maybe not. Those combinations don't show up anyways.
