200ft in elevation.
Ok the only part of the poem that take a searcher in a elevation is there be no paddle up your creek.
Could Forrest be telling us the first searcher miss the creek that represents the 200ft in elevation.
Forrest had said a searcher been at the 200ft mark but now Forrest makes it clear the 200ft is in elevation.

That would be cheating if I told u that. Give a hint tho. Elevation is eluded to in Stanza 2. Maybe just comes straight out with it.

Please pardon my skepticism about "now Forrest makes it clear the
200ft is in elevation". Have you joined the April Fools Day club??
