Flying so fast no 1

Flying so fast no 1
Herd us coming, hint to speed of sound, yet they acted like they heard them. We know why he mentions the old Bearded man with 77 and where this points on map, we know exactly how to use pic on folio side, we know where in poem it points to, but Deeep feels he is missing something and wants yr input. abberations: 12 miles a min isnt quite speed of sound, mach 1, so they didnt hear a Sonic boom. Yet he was flying fast and low enough that they shouldn't have had time to do more than Look Up, much less STAMPEDE. Ive already put out on CC the inability to see the emotional look of an old mans face within a crowd of a 1000 people crammed into a clearing, flying at 500' at 720 miles mph, while looking through dark visors. I used to think that with the HOT SALTY tears it would be even harder but by the time it registered what he "said" he saw, he would have been distance out of sight beforehand tears clouded his vision. We know "who" the flyers are and call back to the guys behind us, metaphorically, and the location hinted at and how to use the angle, 12 mins, ahead,, pic, number of missions, "off duty", etc, But there remains one elusive hint here, and its very important. DT asks if he is missing anything. He has given freely and generously to this particular site and asks for a lil help from ya'll. He says ty For any help and youu can be cryptic , he'll get it..

The stampede was more like a Chinese fire drill, or the Cherokees chasing chickens. "Stampede" usually has everyone going in the same direction -- not like the funeral story.

The tail number of 11924 doesn't exist as a zip code on internet maps, but it might represent Gardiners Island (mentioned at the end of the Gold and More chapter as where Captain Kidd buried a treasure) which is next to the 11930 zip code (and may well have had its own zip code at one time, although today it is part of 11937 = East Hampton), or Fire Island which is next to 11934 and is only off by one digit.

Also, check out an old print entitled "The Ages of Man" This one (out of ten) below represents the age of 90 (with two walking sticks). Note an axeman cutting wood in the background.

DT needs to ride in on a horse. That would be a real Stampede! Do you know anyplace at least 9.5 miles North of Sante Fe, somewhere in the Rockies that rents horses overnight? Only kinda kidding.

I don't know of a place that rents horses over night to take where ever you want. It isn't hard to find people who will do that. The horse rental businesses that I am aware of just rent for the day and you have to stay on their property. I wouldn't be shocked to learn there are some who do rent horses with trailers for extended periods. We're climbing Gannet Peak in about a month. We considered renting llamas for that but ultimately decided to suck it up and haul our gear on our backs.
