Parade Rest Ranch & Rainbows, Oh My...
I hope everyone was paying attention because you may have just gotten a golden nugget (also could be nothing but a VERY beautiful rabbit hole).

On Monday, @Cowlazars & @Kpro laid out why Mr. Fenn hid his chest between July of 2009 and July of 2010. Kpro also then provided that she had heard Mr. Fenn stayed at the Parade Rest Ranch in West Yellowstone during that specific time period.

In the spirit of everyone giving out such potential golden nuggets, I've decided that I'll give out the following that I've been holding onto for a few years now:

https://www.fs.usda.gov/nfs/11558/www/ne...106342.pdf

Parade Rest Ranch, Indian campgrounds, arrowheads, creeks, and a Rainbow, oh my!

Does it mean it's there? No. Is it really interesting? Absolutely!

Kpro's July 2009 is misinformation.

Thank you, she heard from whom? And why did he?

He said between. Already proven Fenn was in Cody in August 2009 (IIRC).

@realistrealist , here's the video:

https://youtu.be/DDptiD0Mj_c

I want to say it was Mr. Fenn's cousin who works at Bullwinkle's (which was the old Totem Cafe), but I could have that completely wrong. It's in the video somewhere, though.

Completely pure hearsay, but I tend to believe it.

The video is interesting, but not groundbreaking because we know Mr F likes to go to Yellowstone and he has family up that way. It's already the most popular search area.

So it's simply saying he stayed where TFTW mentions TFTW - the waters from Hegben down into Yellowstone along the Madison.

Wasn't there someone convinced Gneiss Creek was where it was last year?

I like what someone else just mentioned btw, you'd be looking for a boat in the woods off the Madison East of the Lake and West of Yellowstone (though their guess is that it may be out in the open and docked). Close enough to the water to be legally yours if found. Somewhere only a fisherman would find it.

Do any of the boats at Rainbow Point have the name blaze ascribed to them?

Was just up at good old Rainbow Point last week . . . and the general neighborhood. There are no (rental) boats at Rainbow point, but a concessionaire does rent SUPs. There's also a nice campground there - with hookups.
As most here probably know, there are a few nice canyons/creeks and private ranches on that side of Hebgen.
There's also a pretty sweet blaze of a bison head (up on a cliff side), looking down. Would attached photo, but not sure how.
Keep the faith. Study hard.
