“After reviewing the circumstances of Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, asked the witnesses to state what impeachable offense Trump committed with the call. He did not get an answer.”

Since when is it the responsibility of witnesses to pass judgement on the outcome of the hearing?

Perhaps there is a fiduciary responsibility between diplomats and the administration to maintain a non-partisan relationship. I’m thinking so. In that respect, I’d say they delivered the information and answered questions respectfully. They are still employed, right?

That must be a first. Maria Yovanovitch is testifying about Trump and, with a quiet day on his schedule, the president seems to be listening. He responded with a tweet that began: “Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad.”

Blaming her for the conflict in Somalia appears a stretch, even for him.

Chairman Adam Schiff interrupted the hearing to point out the tweet. “As we sit here, the president is attacking you on Twitter,” he said, asking the former ambassador to respond.

Looking bemused, Yovanovitch said, “I don’t think I have such powers”, adding that she and her colleagues made things better, not worse.

Schiff rejoined: “The president is attacking you in real time... Some of us here take witness intimidation very, very seriously.”

Maybe trump should ask his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, if witness intimidation is an impeachable offense! Oh wait, Giuliani is the guy that facilitated her dismissal from her post. Seems to me that the corruption issue is not with Ukraine, but obviously is with the United States.

Former Independent Counsel Ken Starr, who is often supportive of the president, told Fox News: "I must say that the president was not advised by counsel in deciding to do this tweet. Extraordinarily poor judgment."

Like most Americans, tweetyprez doesn’t understand that there are limits to protections under the 1st amendment. Witness intimidation is very real and serious, and certainly not a protected practice.

I don’t believe most people comprehend the gravity of what is going on.

You’re looking at the next cabinet! Pardoned war criminals. Perfect, just like the call.

So, being cruel to animals gets you prison, but killing captured enemy combatants and taking pictures with corpses gets you on a rally tour with the president of the United States. America is sick. I hate this place right now. Makes me sick.

From FaceBook today....

This woman needs to go to prison. What’s worse than pulling a horse with your truck? Killing prisoners, nah. Taking pictures with dead prisoners, nah.

I’m thinking there’s some insurance keeping the lid on this.

“Defending President Trump by echoing his talking points, Soloviev exclaimed: ‘There was no quid pro quo!’”

And the Russians, they’d be the first to admit it if there was, right?

Frankly, I’m shocked at how republicans are so pleased as punch to have the Russian government support their administration. Yes, america has left the orbit of propriety and entered the realm of overt corruption. I have a pretty strong feeling about 2020.

Here’s how a business man runs the military. Do those men and women get a cut of the profits? That’s an answer we already know.

Money has a way of making anything corrupt.

Yeah, should have known it was another lie. Don’t think you can trust anything a diktater says.
