"I never wanted to tell my story. I think that should be stated at the start. I find most autobiographies rather self-serving. I hated “Doggie Dearest,” which I found highly exploitive, “For Whom the Dog Barks, “Memoirs of a Schnauzer of Pleasure,” “Cheaper by the Litter,” and all of the other volumes I have read over the years have left me cold. I always assumed that my art, not my printed word, would make the world aware that I have been one of the most colorful artists of the American West, Throughout all the years I have been painting, I have naively assumed that somehow my reputation would be discovered through the gallery we operate. But now that I am getting old, I think it is time that I tell the whole story."

Here's the first page of A River Runs through It. The first page, page 104, and the last page are the easiest to read without the book.

I imagine the Chase is as precious of a pet to f as any of his puppies have been. Why don't we adults treat it accordingly from now on?

Touching story about a dog and his best friend. Hard for the cutest pet award to compete with that.

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs."

Aw, that Bip must have been a sweet dog, to have been recollected in such a poignant way. Seems a safe bet that he would eventually rest in peace at the home of Fenn, what do you think?

RE: SB 243 - I Remember Bip
So it is all coming together now. Kpro/Mike by this BIP book (tell Fenn) and Fenn does a scrapbook on it. Kpro puts her dog down, Fenn writes SB243 about Bip the dog being put down (Mike asked did she tell Fenn about it - she says I don't want to talk about it) . From what I understand Fenn's new dog Willie is the same cross or nearly identical to kpro's dog that was put down.

It this clear now. Chase enters phase two, promotion.
