12-10-2019, 05:56 AM,
I believe “intersection” refers to a “crossroads.”

If you research the folklore and history involving crossroads, you’ll be taken down an incredibly interesting rabbit hole.

Like the story of Midas, a Willow tree, and a crossroads. Smile

Cynthia has a blog post where she and Dal and a couple of others met Forrest for dinner in mid-October. Forrest mentioned that a Scrapbook titled "Everybody Needs an Intersection" would be coming out shortly. Also, Cynthia remembered an earlier discussion about Intersections. She and Dal bantered between them about one using intersections in his/her solve, and one not.

Here's the link:

Interestingly, in that same post, it states that Forrest and Robert Redford had planned to buy the Pink Adobe restaurant (but apparently did not).

Both numbers mean something (if you go to the link you posted BT). They are the intersection but there are others at that location when you arrive. There is a perfect cross as the final location (90 degrees exactly but not north-south/east-west). IMO as always.

I found the BLM map worthless and out of date currently, but the USDA fire maps were helpful and even show trails of all sorts (including horse trails). IMO though...

I did forget 1 map.

Horse back riding trails. He said he first saw this while riding horses.

I get the eye. But I missed the owl

I guess I missed that one. Where/when did he say that?

Finding Lewis and Clark.

On page 59 he tells us that he rented horses.

On page 60 and 61
He talks about their adventure while describing where he placed the treasure

On page 60
He goes on further of his description of the area. He tells us exactly where he placed the chest.
