I hope it is due to everyone listening (hear me good) to the 'trial, paying close attention to how your Senator votes. Time to Mitt or get off the pot.

Utah is having buyer's remorse methinks

which has probably resulted in some unflattering "nicknames" for the Mittens

if you don't know what i mean, look at Mittens FB post and then read the replies LOL

Imagine what if Mitt Romney had beat Barrak Obama in 2012? The Mayan End of the World misunderstood prophecies thing might have come true. Our cities may have burned.

Given the choice between Romney and Trump, as much as some people hate Trump, we are still far better off with Trump. Especially a Trump that did not run against and beat Obama.

Imagine if Romney were a Democrat and doing to that political party what his is doing to his supposed political party the Republicans? Would Democrats hold him up as the same kind of hero as they do today?

I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican, and although I have Libertarian principles, I am not part of the Libertarian political party. They all have platform items and things they support that I like and platform items and issues they support that I don't like. Just as every President has done some things I like and some things I don't like. It's called being objective which seems to be a rarity when so many Americans have become rabid sports fans over their choice of political parties.

Go Chiefs baby! Woot!

this super bowl should be really good

i saw your assessment and imo the 49ers and Chiefs both have prolific offenses but i think the Chiefs defense will be the difference

If I were the KC coach, I would try to play my most conventional offense the first half and save all of the really good stuff for the second half, even if it meant going into the half down a few points.

Then I would turn Mahomes loose with all of the special and trick plays in the second half. The reason would be to deny SF from making half-time defensive adjustments and force them to make all adjustments on the field which is far more chaotic and less certain to work.

In my world, a team would have two quarterbacks, one for the first half and one for the second half. Try to adjust the defense for that when the offense will change too when the second half QB takes the field in the 3rd quarter.

Did Kim Jong-un ever send us that Christmas or New Year's surprise present?

Did Iran kick off WWIII when Trump ordered Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, Iran’s most powerful commander, to be executed?

Did China destroy the US economy in the Trade War Trump started with the ChiComs?

Did Trump's tossing out the NAFTA deal destroy the US economy?

Have the Democrats impeached Trump as they have promised me they would do since before his inauguration?

Let me tell you where I am at with all of this...

I've never been a Trump fan. And given the choice, I have voted in most of the Democrat primaries over the last couple of decades or so.

But what the DNC has really done here with their handling of Trump, is prove just how incompetent and inept they are as a party. It's one thing to lie in a campaign to get elected and never deliver on a campaign promise. To me that's like going to bar in a rented Porche to try to score with a chick out of your own league, or posting pics of yourself from 20 years ago on a dating site. All's fair in love and war.

But don't PROMISE ME something when you are in office, then attempt to do that very thing, and have your ass handed to you by the villain you had assured me was an incompetent boob. You don't know how done I am with losers like that.

Trump may suck, but he sucks a lot less than the current crop of Democrats.

And I'm totally with Michael Moore, who called this election exactly as it went down weeks before the election. Bloomberg will be the end of the Democrat Party.

Oh yea, Trump used to be a Democrat and so did I.

Moore is scary because much of what he says comes true. Not everything, but he always seems to be ahead of the curve.

I still remember when the internets were still young, not long after Al Gore invented them, the rumors that Clinton, then Bush Jr, then Obama and now Trump were all going to declare martial law to suspend elections in order to stay in power.

But someday some kind of disaster or civil unrest could cause whoever is POTUS at the time to have to do that.

The one element of the effort to impeach Trump that gets me which no one seems to talk about is VP Pence taking over and finishing the term, which if he didn't make the Gerald Ford mistake of pardoning the former president, would be in a very good position to win the next two elections by simply not tweeting anything. Is that what the Democrats want?
