Look up the picture of a physical meall... This is a geological hill and they are found in the western American continent mostly. It does put you on a map if you are at clue 8 looking at the blaze. You can see it right in line of sight looking quickly down.

I don't think "meall" as a single word was ever FF's intended meaning in the poem. Keeping a solve basically simple (as if the solver is about 13
years old) is the ticket, in my opinion. But one should give some decent attention to "hear" in the sentence containing "hear me all". Tic, tic, tic.

The seated figure is gazing off to the right where there really is a dramatic view. The stone is 16"x9"x3" and weighs about 40 pounds. Here it is from the side

Note how carefully it has been shimmed into place. Also note the lichen that is growing on the shim stones. Given the growth rate of lichen, these shims were put in place ~10 years ago. The stone has been placed on top of a boulder at the very edge of a cliff. When you are standing near it, it really stands out. But you have to be "wise" to get there.

That's a pretty scary stone. There are many faces on it, including baby Yoda yelling/crying! Sideways it looks like a rabbit with a missing ear ("Hear me all??")

Looks like a setup for someone down below the cliff to be "accidentally" hit by a tumbling boulder (easily pushed over in its current configuration). Stay safe out there people!

Your photography makes that stone look much bigger than the dimensions you stated. There may be huge demand for skills like that. Smile

I had not thought of 'hear me all' with meall as a verb; in that case hear would definitely be here as a noun. Here meall would mean a disappointment would have occurred here? Hummm, thanks; you always bring up the most perplexing problems, lol... Of course it could be Here he was charmed?
