It's insane crazy.

30,000 members? WTF??? You guys rock! Toby can't compete with that!

Up to like 44,000 now. It’s insane. I’ve been moderating all day and can barely keep up but what a fantastic group of people!

Moderating? Wow, that must be a big job keeping krapo's crap out of there.

Lol Top! I saw a couple prominent TTOTC chasers come on the FB page and try and throw a little shade when it first started going viral, but the group wasn't having it. Now its to late, the group is to large. I was like, this page needs BEAVERTOOTH!....I tried sending out the batman Beavertooth night sky signal, but I guess Kepler over there was snoozing Smile

Sorry guys, my days as a moderator are coming to an end. Time for the younger crowd to take up the responsibilities.

You are very welcome. Your new ventures seem like they are really taking off. I think Forrest would have been happy for you. Keep on keeping on.

I can help with moderating if needed, but I am often gone for days at a time. I'm still an experienced mod though.

Forrest actually knew about it...which I think is great. The only thing I regret I hadn't talked to Forrest about is what I think is something amazing I was old about in the search. I was waiting for this book to come in the mail before I talked to him about it. There's a book called HaHaHa by DB Cooper. It's a treasure hunt for $200,000. The book talks about a treasure that has 7 clues and if you figure them out you can find the treasure and be part of the thrill of the chase. It was published in 1983. I was not the finder of this...but rather a fellow searcher Allen K. Since I had that DB belief...I thought it would have been neat to discuss with him.

We're getting calls from all kinds film people and it's bigger than I ever imagined. I think it's sad I was shunned by some of the treasure industry because I would have enjoyed giving them some props...Toby was good to us though...so I want to help him even though I know some here have differences with him. I think he's a good guy and Shelley is great.

RE: The Gold Ticket
My family wants to know what I want for my birthday. I think an entry into this hunt might be cool. My concern is that the state hunt will be too easy and it will all depend on who catches the clue the earliest and who lives the closest to the location.

I doubt that concern will manifest itself. At least I wouldn’t let that stop me.

Pays to be a winner.
