That's a mighty long time to live. He will hold a place in history for having a decade long treasure hunt in our own backyard. RIP Mr. Fenn.

As one's quality of life erodes away (loss of hearing, loss of eyesight, loss of other senses and abilities), it
seems that one would have less and less reason to want to live. Being content and at peace with the
approach of death seems natural and reasonable, in my opinion.

Gordy, miss seeing you. Hope you are doing well.

20 came quick, them 30,40,50,60, next 70.

I doubt 90.

RIP Forrest Fenn

Or you can take this view:

Do not go gentle into that good night
Dylan Thomas - 1914-1953

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Gordon, if you do live until you're 90, I hope it's in a state of relatively good health and ability, and also
in a state of happiness, along with a continuing hunger/thirst for new experiences. It helps to have a reason to get up in the morning. Please forgive me in advance for not talking to you after your death or
mine.

60 isn't very old. If you are reasonably careful about avoiding dangers
(such as smoking, drug overdoses, or being in a serious automobile collision), it should not take a miracle. Good luck.
