You have some interesting ideas. If you are correct, the last place I think he would hide it is in the middle of a city. But there are too many problems with that I think...

If you wanted to hide something where nobody would suspect where it could be, where would you hide it? Think. Wink

Ah ha! It must be under an outhouse in a cemetery in Utah!

Although, I think the point is for somebody to eventually find it. And I think the purpose of the book is to learn as much about Mr. Fenn as he wants to share with us.

Toss us a bone. Where is WWWH?

The answer is: There is only one place. Where it will become a part of it's surroundings, over time. That way it is always where it is "laid to rest" and not really buried. The true secret to finding it, is to not wait too long before you will never "see" it. Also, truly understanding Forrest's thinking in regards to the word "hidden".

As an adjective it is "CAMOUFLAGE".

Next question.

Hi Forest, The problem with finding something hidden, is the conflict between (sight and thought). Every detail of what we see enters our mind, but our mind can only process a small amount of that information, so as were going along looking for something, our mind is saying, oh, here's a good place to hide it, or no you can't hide anything here. (So, we are basing our search pattern on this mental chatter), rather than the actual information that is entering our eyes. Our mind tends only to see what really jumps out at it, most of the subtle details are missed, overlooked.

I just can't see it being in a city, based on what I know about f. And cities are full of structures, the only way I can see it being in a city is if it is at a particular house or business to pay tribute. But those are structures. Although starting at a structure isn't out.....

If I was a clever person, I'd put my treasure in plain sight. Then when it was found everyone would laugh and say "oh what a clever person that Ricko is. Putting his treasure where so many people look but never really see."
