First Clue revealed by Forrest
"Until someone finds the treasure they will not know for sure that they have discovered the first clue." - f
If you thought, like me, the first clue was "Begin it where warm water halt" then we were wrong. Because this statement doesn't make sense if that's the case. Start from the top of the poem. "As I have gone alone in there and with my treasure bold" THIS IS THE FIRST CLUE Because once you solve all the others the last thing you will need to do is "go in" where Fenn placed the chest. Which was referenced in the first stanza = first clue. Forrest said WWWH is a good place to start, but he never said it was the first clue (to find the chest). Another note (possibility): The man is 80 years old. I believe he has two types of first clues. 1) First clue in the poem 2) First clue you should follow (start with) At least this is the only thing that makes sense coming from him nowadays |

This statement confirms IMHO that all of the bigmouth, know-it-all, I'm right, jerks that have plagued my eyes with their boasting posts are WRONG! None of them found the treasure so that means that their first clue is WRONG! It doesn't matter if it's the poems first clue or starting first clue, those guys are WRONG! *doing the happy dance now* It also won't do anyone any good to have the first clue right unless that person is the finder. It will suck big time if someone finds the treasure and I have the first clue right. But I don't have to worry about that anyway; mine ain't right. |

How do we know the treasure hasn't been found?
Who's to say some one found it, took MOST of the treasure out and left the chest and one gold coin. Then Forrest wouldn't be lying if he said the treasure is still out there, because a "treasure" would still be there. |

I think Forrest refers to throwing himself in the Madison River............ It is his Love, and I can see why. Its hypnotizing.
