Something tells me that Frosty at the Totem Café.. was not his real name... "Frosty" references to Cold... and Frosty was not a nice boss..so the perfect name for a "cold" person..

Ruler is capitalized signaling importance... so makes me wonder here?! and the references to Pie.. or should we say "Pi" like the 3.14 calculations..

Just thoughts. I can't even follow my own often...

I don't think his name was Frosty in the original story published by Forrest (before the book came out). Maybe someone who remembers can chime in.

My ideas were all about old legends , to me Frosty was a "false Ruler" . It paralleled the story of Hercules and his cousin who was the false ruler of the Greeks. He hid in a giant olive jar whenever Hercules came to the palace during the labors of Hercules. Funny how words can be used. It didn't lead anywhere.

Frosty is his real name, I don't know why he called him Old Fred in 2008 story, maybe he couldn't remember his name at the time.
