It is that "<b>MAYBE part</b>" that has me concerned... <b>the Comet ISON wasn't supposed to hit Earth... </b>but who knows what dynamics have changed if NASA is using the word "MAYBE" as of 2013-11-30 ?

<b>Well, we will know by CHRISTMAS... MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone...</b>

<b>"It's the bullets from out of the Sun that WE don't see coming..."</b>

<b>What if ISON does hit the earth?</b> 8O

Innumerable space objects have hit the Earth and thousands hit EARTH daily. The issue here is size; volume and mass.

EARTH IMPACT

That's where the EARTH's moon came from? Scientists believe that the EARTH's moon is simply a large chunk of EARTH splashed off into EARTH ORBIT as a result of EARTH's collision with the extremely large proto-planet, THEA, that was roughly the size of Mars. ( THEA was either GOBBLED UP whole inside the EARTH... or if THEA gave EARTH a GLANCING BLOW & THEA may be in a LONG ORBIT around the SUN, we may see THEA again... and maybe then EARTH will be a PLANET with TWO-MOONS & NO PEOPLE... 8O )

It is inaccurate when people say... "Save the Planet"

NOPE: The Earth will be here regardless of GLOBAL WARMING or SPACE IMPACT...

<b>"Save the Planet" </b> ...if "GLOBAL WARMING or SPACE IMPACT" turn out SEVERE enough...

<b>"The planet EARTH will be here, </b>( like MARS & VENUS )<b> ... it may be The People who are missing "... </b> 8O

We should know in a week or so...the remnant should become visible again(if bright enough) in the western sky soon after sundown...

From ONE ANGLE, it looks like COMET ISON is going to CROSS EARTH's ORBIT on DECEMBER 25th 2013 if you click the DATE FORWARD to "DECEMBER 25th 2013 " ( you can't make this stuff up, scary } but if you move the RIGHT-SIDE-SLIDER, to adjust the PLANE in 3-SPACE ISON does <b>NOT</b> appear to be in our (EARTH's) ORBITAL PLANE... WHEW!!!

...unless there is a forthcoming explanation to NASA's "MAYBE"...

NASA Update: RE-CALCULATING ... whoops !!!

=======================================================

HERE is a SOLAR SYSTEM ORBITAL showing the 4 ROCKS & the SUN, and COMET ISON.

EARTH is the "THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN"...

I wish those knuckleheads that developed the SkyView iPhone/iPad app would have included ISON - maybe they were out Fenning instead?

Maybe the remnants will scatter enough to give us some good meteor shower viewing if and when the earth should ever pass through the leftovers...just hope no pieces are larger than a basketball...get up to auto size and we may have a big BOOM somewhere we don't want one...
