If handling puzzle pieces in a treasure hunt, like the Chase, is called “extremely repetitive” than what are you or we doing here?

“Some searchers overrate the complexity of the search. Excellent research materials are TTOTC, Google Earth, and/or a good map.f”

Don’t read the thread if you think it’ll wast your time. That’s an easy solution. Others seem to get a thread of their own to act like a journal to their thoughts. At least mine is on point to the vital first hurdle that needs to be leaped over and isn’t a bunch of random thoughts.

The Codes and Cypher thread is different. It is a good example of this forum's "free speech" orientation. Fenn's warning that codes and cyphers won't help doesn't mean that searchers here can't discuss them. New posts in that thread bring up something for discussion that others are interested in and/or respond to.

As opposed to this thread, which is almost entirely used by you to debate one issue -- over and over and over again. Repetitively. And the thread usually pops back up when you want to continue debating with others not even on this forum. As far as I know, they are just "bear-baiting" you to get a reaction. Your viewpoint can be simply stated (as I did), but it cannot be proven until the chase is over. Please give it a rest.

Seriously, what in the world do you think Forrest is saying when he says that shit. This is what searchers should be talking about.

It’s exactly like using Shakespeare as an example of wanting to be remembered.

But who wants to talk about these things? Besides me? no one. Instead, searchers argue methodology...poem purism vs. the book. Hints vital to what?
I could argue all day and all night, every day and night about why my solving method is the correct and ONLY way. That doesn’t mean anything, but we could surely debate the meaning in Forrest’s writings.

Forrest has been called an amateur archeologist, writer and philosopher, and with what we know about HIM, do you really expect his writings to be straight forward awe-shucks accounts of his life?

Someone, please start talking about the hints.

Then focus on the puzzle pieces that will help one figure out the first clue.

There it is. Your methodology is the only correct way to solve the poem.

You’re actually making my point for me in the comparison to the Codes and Cypher thread- “free speech” orientation. There’s nothing wrong with my thread bringing up a f quote that has been discussed before. That’s not being repetitive. There’s no way you can be in control of searchers discussing a possibility of the one, certain process f has said it takes to find the tc in a treasure hunt that may last 1,000 years or more.

There’s an easy way to solve your apparent issue. I bet in my next post, I can post a compelling aspect of how one can glean a little bit if something is a hint or not by writing to f on a specific occurrence in the past. One that hasn’t been posted before, if I can do that, then you give it a rest...that’s the bet. Or, are you so clever that you are just “bear-baiting”? Give me a break.

My thread provides new posts that bring up something for discussion that others are interested in and/or respond to.

You can talk about what you want. But, don’t blame me if you don’t talk about it. Get real.

THE HINTS- VITAL TO SUCCESS
How many different ways are you gonna tell everyone that you’re right and they’re wrong.

Is this thread about hints, or not.

Umm, you don’t have to show up here. Go not talk about what you want to talk about while guarding your search site.

I’m just giving possibilities. Wake up.

Not sure why if it’s such a rub on you why you keep showing up and that’s all you got. Reflects more on you than me. Guess this thread has a gravitational pull on you.

Am I gonna get reprimanded for keep pointing out that no one is required to participate in this thread? Excessive repetition violation?
