You say the clues in the poem are to be followed in consecutive order. You have also said the book holds sublte hints. Are these ‘subtle hints’ in consecutive order (in relation to how they help with clues in the poem) too? ~ Thank you, joseph
That’s right joseph, you should start with the first clue and follow the others consecutively to the treasure. Hints in the book are not that organized.f

The hints in the book are probably not organized to all hint towards WWWH. I don't believe there are nine hints in the book, probably less. If Fenn made all the hints in the book to point to WWWH than it could have made the poem easier to solve than what it is, I don't see Fenn doing that. If there is a hint in the book that helps solve WWWH it may be one of those aberrations that live out on the edge, making it a possible crap shoot to find it in the book and understand how it helps to solve WWWH. My thinking is anyones best bet to solve WWWH is to marry it to a place on a map. We all by now should know several solved the first 2 clues, which WWWH is one of. I doubt all of these several searchers solved WWWH by a hint in the book they did it another way, a easier way.

There are nine clues in the poem but if you read the book, uh, there are a couple. There are a couple of good hints, and then there are a couple of aberrations that live out on the edge.

We all know which chapter in the book holds the poem, there for holding the 9 clues but as far as the hints anybodies guess. That's all I've seen people do with the hints in the book is guess. It doesn't matter how good the hints are if there next to impossible to find and than understand how to use them.
