Yep, you got it. If the eye passes over us (doesn't look like it right now), I'll try to time it right and go outside during the calm, and stay outside until wind picks up to show what that's like.

The eye is not "calm". Is it calmer than other parts of the hurricane? Yes, but I highly recommend not going outside during the eye.

The eye is very calm... eerily calm. I've been in a few in the past. During Hurricane David, my dad took us for a drive in the eye. Lol.
