Night Will End the Chase

It's no secret that I believe the chest's location will be revealed at night. I know that's an unpopular opinion by many, mostly because they do not want to put forth the extra effort of searching at night. But I will translate what I believe it means.

But Tarry(wait around) Scant [few, per Forrest] (2,3) with Marvel (curious, wondering) Gaze(focused stare)
...or....
Wait around to 3 with a curious focused stare to the south or down(look quickly down)

This explains the sandwich, flashlight, and gloves perfectly. Sandwich to eat while you wait, flashlight because its night time, and gloves to keep your hands warm (as its cold at night where the chest is)

SB 99.5 also points to this with the bathroom photo of light shining on the chest at 2:50 where there is no light(missing lightbulb) or 2:50 am.

This is also reinforced by the final 9th clue in the Denver Museum Parking lot in Doug's foreword...

My best guess is, that the location of the chest will be revealed from 2:50 until 3 am with some light source.

Yes I agree, if you decide to search at night, you should listen to common sense safety advice.

It's possible I'll give you that, but to me if he FF hid it during the day, it can be found during the day. But I have often wondered if the blaze was created by the flashlights beam hitting the chest with a possibility of the water giving it a distinctive refraction as to really stand out as a blaze on ??? A rock a tree etc.

well if it was a redneck from Ga,and couldnt afford to fly he might just take a bedroll with him and sleep in the bed of his truck on the way to his spot,drive in day sleep in bedroll at night
