You guys dig dig dig into this guy and everything about him, but how has no one called him out in this? WHAT LOST CITY DID HE FIND?????????!!!!

Id be willing to put money on it that nobody can tell me the "lost city"! Douglas Preston could, but he wont... I wrote him an email asking him which lost city he was talking about... NO T
RESPONSE!

I am pretty sure he was referring to San Lazaro. Just using "poetic license" or a "figure of speech", or speaking metaphorically.

"I found a great mechanic today." "Why, was he lost?"
"I found the girl of my dreams."

But you certainly can dream on ...

San Lazaro was never lost to be found in the first place

So what city DID Forrest find? Can any of you answer that for me?! Or will it forever be a mystery?!

Actually, it is now the second link. The first link is your original post. How ironic, said the beaver....

Then that should tell you everything you need to know! Leave it to beaver!

That means more people have seem my post about it than the actual source from Douglas Preston himself! I'm not making it up, the evidence is there, I was just the first to find it!

Instead of trying to shame me, you should be grateful my man! Bringing more atiff to light about the man you've built your life around!

When he said "come and see his shining palace" that's exactly what he meant! Good night bud! Sleep on it! Smile

Not trying to shame anyone.

You know nothing about my life.

Your idea seems far-fetched to me, but you are entitled to your own dreams about lost cities. I am just suggesting that you are reading far too much into a brief Douglas Preston comment that clearly (to me) is referrring to San Lazaro.

I have seen crazier ideas here on the forum, of course, but this one just does not have much logic to it. IMO

RE: Who discovered San lazaro?
Perhaps he located the city built by the People from San Lazaro after they left that pueblo. From what I have found the location area is near Santa Cruz, New Mexico but the exact location has never been found.

The route the Tano took when they abandoned San Lazaro and where they ended up is on page 30 of my book, The Lost Kivas of San Lazaro, newly re-released on Amazon books. They only stopped briefly in Santa Cruz pueblo, then moved on.
